MrBeast is one of the world's largest creator-led media companies, spanning content production, prize competitions, philanthropy, partnerships, and global audience engagement. As prize campaigns grew, so did the complexity of paying winners across countries, currencies, tax requirements, and payout methods.

With participants coming from different regions and often starting as usernames or social handles, the payout process required more than simply sending money. The MrBeast team needed a secure way to verify winners, protect sensitive personal and financial information, meet compliance requirements, support payees, manage unclaimed prizes, and deliver prize payments without adding extra administrative work for the production team.

Payment Labs embedded a secure payout workflow directly into MrBeast's prize operations. Built on Payment Labs' SOC 2 Type II certified platform, the workflow replaced manual data collection with a structured process that turned contest winners into verified payees.

When a winner was confirmed, they received a secure, single-use tokenized link and completed onboarding inside Payment Labs. The platform then managed winner verification, sanctions screening, tax documentation, withholding workflows, customer and payee support, unclaimed prize management, and payout execution through one secure workflow.
